Wind Tales, is a musical story dedicated to my 7-year-old daughter, Maria. Inspired by Hans Christian Andersen, The Little Prince, Alice in Wonderland, The Chronicles of Narnia, the Moomins and the dreamlike darkness of Pan’s Labyrinth, the album follows the Wind on a journey around the world until it meets a mysterious girl named Melody — a child born from the Sea. Their encounter becomes a meditation on nature, innocence and the invisible forces connecting all beings.
Drawing from the virtuosity of Lubomyr Melnyk, the introspective depth of Nils Frahm and the visual poetry of expressionism, I composes music that moves between fantasy and reality. My work is rooted in the belief that “we all come from the same source… the Ocean is a reflection of the Universe.”
